Stop hugging the start-up halo
Nothing But Epic chairman Malcolm Evans describes the pragmatic and passionate culture which is driving the company’s very rapid growth:
One of the several unfortunate side effects of the cult of fetishising startups is glorifying overly-long in non-commercial incompleteness. Looking towards Minimum Viable Product (MVP) is a bit too touchy-feely, another step in the self-indulgent startup ritual much beloved of the enterprise chatterers and VC burners. Build fast in the fullest possible engagement with potential users. Get off the easy startup ride asap. Declare yourself a crap company, with tiny traction and, at best, tiny income. Stop hugging the startup halo and get real.
